HAM WITH HAILEY AND HONEY GLAZE
NO OTHER SPICES NEEDED!
This is the most delicious combination to be enjoyed at any gathering!
Ingredients:
1- Cooked Ham Shank or Butt of your choice! Any size you Desire!
2- Approx. 3/4 to1 cup or more (depending on the size of Ham and amount of gravy desired) of Hailey Eggplant Torshi Salsa, Puree in a Blender.
3- Approx. 3/4 to 1 cup or more (depending on the size of Ham and amount of gravy desired) of pure Honey, or, a little less depending on the sweetness you desire!
Directions:
Puree Hailey in a small blender. Mix the Honey at room temperature.
Rinse the Ham, and pat dry. Place the Ham in aluminum foil and place it in your baking pan.
Glaze the Ham with the mixture with the amount you desire! The more glaze will result with more juice for the sauce /or gravy for your mashed potato or vegetable of your choice! Wrap tight with the foil, a double wrap is advisable also!
Place in the center rack of pre heated oven at 350F temperature Heat/cook according to instructions by the weight chart or until the inside temperature reaches approx. 170 to 175F. Open the foil and let the Ham golden for about 7 to 10 min.
Remove from oven and place on a cutting board or the dish you desire and let it rest for about 7 to 10min. Cut, serve, and enjoy!
The juice is to be used for gravy or sauce or for the side dishes of your choice!
